If you are non-compromising and are seeking quality over price, Intercoastal’s Two Component Acrylic Polyurethane Enamels may be the product for you. They are used in heavy duty applications where extra durability, corrosion, and chemical resistance are needed. Easily applied easily with brush or spray, our polyurethane enamels exhibit excellent exterior gloss retention, a characteristic not always found in epoxies which sometimes tend to chalk under UV exposure.
We recommend using one of our universal primers as a basecoat under the polyurethane. In severe conditions a intermediate coat of epoxy primer can be used between the universal primer and the polyurethane
At Intercoastal Paint, the price of the catalyst is included in the price of the polyurethane. This is not true with all suppliers of polyurethanes.
