We have created fast-drying waterborne primers for the metal building industry that have less than .35 pounds of VOC per gallon. VOC or Volatile Organic Compounds is the amount of solvent (thinner) contained in a gallon of paint. This is important because of air quality concerns. Environmental regulations are dictating tighter control on emissions of organic solvents into the atmosphere.
